JAKARTA, June 30, 2022 – PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk with the trademark Cashlez, has proven its role in the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) program, by winning the Silver Champion Bisnis Indonesia Corporate Social Responsibility Award (BISRA) 2022.


The award was received directly by the President Director of Cashlez, Suwandi on Wednesday (29/6). Taking place at the Le Meridien Hotel, the award has the theme "Social Responsibility to Accelerate Stronger Recovery", where this award aims to give appreciation to companies that are committed to contributing to vulnerable communities and low-income communities (MBR), especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, and motivate companies to continue to contribute to vulnerable communities and MBR. In addition, it is also to provide lessons for companies in managing effective, impactful and sustainable CSR, as well as supporting the acceleration of achieving the Sustainable Development goals (SDGs).


“It is an honor and honor for us to receive this award. Because with this achievement it proves that Cashlez has a high corporate social responsibility to the community and the surrounding environment, especially MSMEs during this Covid-19 pandemic." said Suwandi, President Director of Cashlez.


He added that corporate social responsibility was carried out in line with the company’s commitment to helping MSMEs and supporting sustainable economic recovery and growth from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in supporting the Government’s program to accelerate the payment digitalization literacy program at the MSME entrepreneur level in Indonesia.


The jury from BISRA 2022, including Expert Staff for Social and Poverty Reduction at Bappenas/Head of the SDGs National Secretariat Vivi Yulaswati, National Director Habitat for Humanity Susanto Samsudin, and Indonesian Business Editor-in-Chief Maria Y Benyamin.


“We thank you for the objective assessment of our CSR performance so far. Hopefully this award will motivate Cashlez and other start-up companies to provide sustainable CSR activities as a form of responsibility to the environment and society," concluded Suwandi.
