PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (Cashlez) through the #BahuMebahu program with Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) today, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, provides assistance through capital aid and business assistance to MSMEs in the West Jakarta area.


This assistance is the result of collecting donations through the #BahuMebahu program with Cashlez and ACT which also invites Cashlez merchants, where through this program, since November 2021 Cashlez has managed to collect donations of 40 million 166 thousand rupiah.


President Director of Cashlez, Suwandi, said that previously donated funds had been distributed to victims of the Mount Semeru natural disaster last January, and the remaining donation funds were currently being channeled to MSME business owners in the West Jakarta area to help restart their businesses which had been hampered. due to the pandemic.


MSMEs, which are the driving force of the Indonesian economy, are one of the sectors most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on ACT data, as many as 30 million MSMEs were unable to survive due to a drastic decrease in income. During the PPKM period, MSMEs are estimated to experience a decline in turnover of 70–80%.


"The provision of assistance to MSMEs aims to help MSMEs start their businesses again amidst the constraints caused by the pandemic. It is hoped that at the beginning of 2022, with the help of capital and business assistance, it is hoped that the wheels of the MSME business can be revived," said Suwandi.


Suwandi added that in addition to providing capital and business assistance, business actors who received this assistance also received education about digital transactions from Cashlez, where this education was aimed at directing business actors to be able to take advantage of and adapt to current digital payment trends to increase business turnover. they.
