Cashlez with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and Balinese handicraftsmen during the Business Matching Entrepreneurial Through Alternative Financing Scheme at the Harris Hotel Kuta Bali, 28/10/21.

Bali, October 29, 2021 – In the mission of developing Wastra in the province of Bali, Cashlez together with the Deputy for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkop UKM RI) carried out a Business Matching Entrepreneurial activity through an Alternative Financing Scheme for Balinese wastra craftsmen.

This activity aims to improve the ability of SMEs to access alternative financing in order to increase business scale, especially in the field of wastra as one of the archipelago’s heritage.

Angjelia Dewi, Business Development Manager of Cashlez Bali said, “It is an honor for us to be part of the activities of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in promoting textile craftsmen in Bali. We hope that through the education we provide, it can inspire craftsmen to adapt in the digital world and make it easier for them to access capital, both for production and operational capital.”

Angjelia Dewi added that the participants of wastra craftsmen were very enthusiastic about the information provided regarding digital payments and capital, this is because their own capital usually takes approximately 3 - 6 months to get loan capital.

"Because Wastra is the archipelago’s heritage, of course, we must preserve together and maintain its existence. For this reason, we also need to pay attention to wastra craftsmen in order to remain productive and move the wheels of the SME economy in Bali. In the future, Cashlez will continue to provide education about this digital payment so that every SME in Bali can bounce back.” Added Angjelia.
